This Could Cost you Your Medicine Offer

I want to hear from you

If you're new here, I'm Loveleen a King's College London medic. As someone who had no doctors in the family I understand the struggles of navigating the medicine application process. I'm here to help you along the way so you can achieve your dream of studying medicine! I also love helping out aspiring medics, by sharing the hidden getting into medicine curriculum as someone who received 4/4 post-interview offers.

My aim is to create a community of supporting aspiring medics and making the medicine application process feel as accessible as possible. Therefore I always encourage discussion within the community. I love hearing from you and what your concerns are.

This is why I've created this google form, which is completely anonymous. If there are any questions, content or products you want to see from me, you can let me know directly!

And you can find the answer to any questions you've sent me on these newsletter editions or videos on my social media pages!

This Could Cost you Your Medicine Offer

Now is your chance to convert your interview invites into an offer. There are 3 steps that separate successful applicants from everyone else. Step 1 is to master your content so well that no ethical dilemma, NHS question or hot topic can throw you off. Step 2 is to learn interviewer psychology by understanding what admissions tutors really want to see in your answers. But Step 3 is the one most students completely miss. You could have flawless answers and perfect structures…

But if you miss this final step, it could cost you your offer.

It’s the art of presentation and speaking. The way you walk into the room, your tone, your posture, your confidence. These things speak louder than any rehearsed answer.

If you want to stand out and finally feel ready to impress your interviewers, this is your LAST chance to join my FREE live webinar on Thursday 12th November at 7 pm. Inside the webinar, we’ll break down all three steps in detail, and I’ll show you exactly how to structure your prep so you can walk into every interview knowing you’re about to secure your offer.

Over the next few weeks I will also continue posting on the newsletter all the interview tips you need to know. If anyone had questions about there fifth option, the first thing is to double check directly with the university you are applying to if they will accept a medicine personal statement. Most of the time if you are applying for a healthcare course, they should but of course please make sure to do your research and calling the university directly will help you get the most up-to-date information.

In terms of video requests, over the next weeks I'll be making some content on interviews at King's specifically, how to answer and structure different MMI stations and interview questions and the need for a fourth A-level.
